Cantor Fitzgerald: Human Resources Coordinator
 
We are a financial services firm with an excellent opportunity for a strong Human Resources Coordinator to join a service-driven team of human resources professionals.
The qualified candidate will be able to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment. He/she will be expected to manage and resolve day-to-day issues in a time sensitive manner.
 
Responsibilities
  • Ensures accurate and timely entry of all new hires, status change, and transfers in ORACLE (HRIS) for assigned population and forward appropriate paperwork to payroll securing required signatures for timely processing
  • Processes on-boarding paperwork (I-9/E-Verify, W4, Handbook, etc.) verify documents are received and filled out correctly
  • Maintains employee records in a HRIS so that information is accurate and secure. Data management may include personal information; compensation, benefits, performance, new hire/termination records; leave accrual records; absences, transfers, salary progressions etc.
  • Provides general administrative support for HR Functions including creating and maintaining personnel and terminated files (electronic and paper-based), processing invoices, employment verifications, organization charts, and FMLA administration processing
  • Runs standard and ad hoc Human Resources information system (HRIS) reports in support of HR data management
  • Performs other administrative/related duties as required and assigned
 
 
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency and superior client services skills
  • Must be able to work on your own with minimal management
  • Two years minimum of Human Resources experience, financial services a plus
  • Experience inputting information into an HRIS system; Oracle, People Soft, Work Day or ADP
  • Experience with Taleo ATS/Onboarding is a plus
  • Advanced attention to detail
  • Proven track record of strong organizational and excellent communication skills (including interpersonal, writing, and editing) with the ability to multitask, prioritize efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, self-starter, and a team player with a positive attitude that is able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate and understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion
