Marketing Director OR Senior Marketing Director, Global Strategy

Job Description:

The NKF Marketing Director for Global Strategy provides dedicated strategic marketing and communications direction and key execution for the service offerings within the GS group. Reporting to GCS Marketing & Business Development but focused on GS initiatives, the role acts as the primary oversight and architect of brand strategy, creative internal and external communication programs, marketing business development including proposal writing, and presentation strategy/design;


Working with senior management, service area and functional leadership in NKF’s GCS and GS groups, and in coordination with NKF corporate marketing standards and initiatives, the Marketing Director facilitates the development, implementation and administration of strategic and business development marketing programs that support the business unit and overall company’s planned objectives.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Identify and communicate value of Global Strategy and GS service capabilities in marketplace and within NKF, and ensure alignment with operational department objectives.
  • Work with GS and GCS teams to develop key messages and collateral
  • Lead proposal and presentation development that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives as discovered in meeting and working with clients or prospective clients.
  • Provide market feedback to GS and GCS leadership regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Create, maintain and monitor internal and external marketing and communication campaigns in coordination with GCS Marketing (enterprise, market, and digital levels) based out of NY and LA as well as NKF Corporate Marketing
  • Develop and implement tracking tools to measure effectiveness of marketing materials, social media outreach and related communications, including web analytics, website proxy software, and social media analytics, in direct concert with GCS Marketing.
  • Coordinate regular marketing communication updates with GCS Marketing to ensure information is timely and accurate.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external client feedback sessions, and leverage data for future communication/marketing/case study opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and support in execution of marketing/thought leadership events (conference exhibits, identifying speaking engagements, etc.), including pre and post event marketing strategy implementation, as well as relationship development and management.
  • Attend industry functions as appropriate, such as association events, conferences and trade shows, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Identify opportunities for marketing and prospecting campaigns that will lead to an increase in net new business.
Skills, Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field, Masters helpful.
  • Minimum 8 years previous marketing experience,
  • Management Consulting, Corporate Real Estate, Professional Services experience is desired
  • Exceptional client service inclination for external and internal customers
  • Self-starter and strategic thinker with a track record of working from a blank slate in creating marketing strategies and plans for initiatives, and executing on them
  • Strong graphics, writing and oral communication skills
  • Superior organization skills and composure: ability to handle competing priorities and to work effectively in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Experience with project management skills ensuring timely completion and cost-effective practices
