CG Technology (CGT) is an innovative technology solutions provider for gaming, race, and sports wagering worldwide. The Race & Sports Book Ticket Writer ensures that excellent customer service is provided to all patrons who bet in our various Race & Sports Books.
  • Reports to Race and Sports Book Manager and/or Supervisor
  • Adhere to all GCB regulations to include Regulation 22 and Treasury’s Title 31 as it applies to the Race & Sports Book Department
  •  Sell and process all bets according to specified dollar amount, game/race selection and betting conditions in order to provide players with betting tickets accurately reflecting desired specifications
  • Explains the rules and variations of betting at players’ request, answers players’ questions and assists them with the game/race in order to provide adequate customer service and promote betting activity
  • Pays all winning bets according to proper odds, to ensure that winning players receive accurate payments
  • Balances the money with ticket sales and payments to winners in order to ensure that all monies are accurately accounted for at the end of each day
  • Accept/disburse funds for account deposits/withdrawals
  • Ability to ensure all work is performance accurately and according to established procedures.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Position Expectations):
  • Ability to clearly communicate information
  • Knowledge of Race & Sports Book betting practices, procedures and policies
  • Ability to perform routine mathematic computations and tabulations accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to recognize and report hazards and apply safe work methods
  • Stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
